Now, together, through passion, design, and the relentless pursuit of innovation, they fight to keep that revolutionary spirit alive.
As part of the launch of this partnership, home, away, and alternate football uniforms were shot and unveiled on UA and Cal social channels, while also being used for stadium and campus branding.

IT STARTS WITH US.
The legacy of Joe Roth lives on through the first special edition uniform collaboration between Cal and Under Armour. This uniform hit the field honoring the Golden Bears legend and All-American quarterback who passed away at the age of 21 fighting skin cancer - just three months after playing his last regular season game. Roth's number 12 jersey is the only number currently retired by the California Golden Bears football program.
